Pundleton Loire - Dungeons & Dragons

Pundleton Loire was my first Dungeons & Dragons, and after a few years of playing with the young halfling bard, it felt like time to finally bring him to life!
I started with the sculpt in zBrush, then brought the mesh into 3ds Max for retopology, unwrapping and animation. Textures were done mostly in Substance 3d Painter, with a small amount of Photoshop clean-up. Lastly, I used Unreal Engine 5 for rendering, with a some more work done here on the materials and lighting to contribute to the art style.
Overall, I am really proud of the end result, but this whole project has just been constant feature creep and poor planning! Many mistakes were made, but that just means more lessons learned I guess!
